Resumo

The interview presents three perspectives on the pedagogical and investigative possibilities generated by the debate on the Movimento Negro Educador. It is part of the project "Movimento Negro Educador: Discourses, Practices, and Knowledges in Circulation in Latin America"; whose overall objective is to expand the debates brought about by Nilma Lino Gomes's innovative perspective on the Black movement as an educational movement. The participants begin with guiding questions related to their fields of research and their work as educators of teachers and other professionals in the fields of pedagogy, tourism, and social sciences. During the discussions, converging perspectives emerge on two of the branches of the debate on the Movimento Negro Educador: its heuristic and its formative potential. The participants reveal the background to their research, highlighting the possibilities engendered by the interpretative framework present in Nilma Lino Gomes's work and indicating the broad scope of the discussions for the training of new professionals and researchers.
