Abstract
Eliza Maria a été une pionnière des mathématiques au Brésil, étant la première femme professeur à l'Institut de mathématiques et de statistique de l'Université fédérale de Bahia (UFBA) à avoir un doctorat. Elle était également la femme noire du Brésil avec le plus ancien doctorat en mathématiques.
