Abstract
Luciana da Cruz Brito analyzes her academic trajectory at undergraduate at UFBA and postgraduate at Unicamp and USP. It articulates their perceptions of black mobilization in Bahia and the debates about history within the university. She talks about her career as a professor at North American universities and research in international collections.
