THE QUILOMBOLA TERRITORY AND ITS STRUGGLE FOR A EMANCIPATION, EMPOWERMENT AND AUTONOMY: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN THE LIGHT OF THE SOLIDARITY ECONOMY
Main Article Content
Abstract
It is possible to observe the dismantling of Brazilian governmental structures responsible for implementing and conducting social and productive policies and social exclusion combat and equality racial promotion effective, with even more aggravating consequences for the historic difficulty of access to public policies by Quilombola communities. In this way, this work presents a proposal for a theoretical-methodological approach aimed at assisting researchers, institutions that promote education, science and technology along with quilombola community associations that legally represent their respective territories to carry out the Social and Territorial Management of their communities, using the potential available there, in its multidimensional economic, social, political, cultural, environmental and ecological aspects. In this context, the Solidarity Economy is approached as an integrating axis of strategic actions aimed at the rural territorial development of these communities.
