Abstract

This article discusses the struggles of Guinean’s women in seeking for emancipation in the social context of Guinea-Bissau, it’s aims to address the emergence of mandjuandade, the use of the term and it social practices, it is somehow a field where GuineaBissau’s women seek for emancipation. Inclusion, mandjuandade as associativism, influence the flight of women from their domestic homes in search of places of decision making that interfere in their hierarchical positions in the social and economic context, thus giving them voices due to the invisibility of their struggles in societ structurally patriarchy.
