Abstract
O Dossiê Raça, Ciência e Gênero vem a lume na primavera de 2014, momento em que reacendeu o debate em torno do aborto. Tal polêmica tem como pano de fundo as tensões entre o direito das mulheres de escolher os filhos que desejam, a legislação brasileira, que insiste na ilegalidade do aborto, e as políticas de saúde pública. Inúmeras questões emanam desse pano de fundo, mas não vamos tratar delas nesse espaço. Deve estar se perguntando o leitor: o que o aborto tem a ver com o Dossiê apresentado na Revista ABPN? Respondendo: o tripé mulher, ciência e atores sociais.
