Abstract
The paper discusses the students' trajectories in the Medical College of Bahia, in the years 1879-1949, when were identified those women formed in medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. The discussion is based on gender studies, the inclusion of women in higher education in Brazil in the health area and their professional ties in Bahian society. It also aims to discuss the inclusion of women in the labor market from the conclusion of college.
