Main Article Content
Abstract
The article deals with the identity construction of the Quilombola Dona Juscelina Community, located in the northern region of the state of Tocantins, in the municipality of Muricilândia, based on the psychoanalytical theoretical framework that includes identification as a constituent part of the EU. The article seeks to identify identifying objects that express the quilombola identity in the Dona Juscelina quilombola community, as well as to contribute to the deepening of knowledge related to quilombola identities and traditional peoples in the region. This is a literature review, based on scientific productions about the community. Thus, we found identifying elements that expressed the collective identity of the community such as land, ancestry and the celebration of abolition.
