MULTIPLE LANGUAGES, MULTIPLE LEARNINGS: THEATER IN PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE CLASS
Main Article Content
Abstract
The National Common Curricular Base for High School (BRASIL, 2018) points out the need for an integrated approach to different languages to provide students with significant experiences in different fields of activity. In this perspective, we present a proposal for teaching Portuguese from the Theater, an art that mobilizes different languages. Based on the concept of active methodologies, more specifically project-based learning (BACICH; MORAN, 2018), the goal is the production of a theatrical play, following a path that goes from understanding the specifics of the dramatic text to the characteristics of body language, considering the theoretical principles of educational theater (BOAL, 2009; SPOLIN, 2010). On the other hand, there are also issues such as transposition of textual genres, linguistic analysis and intertextuality, through the adaptation of narrative texts to the theatrical text. It is expected that the implementation of the proposal will enable students to learn meaningfully for the exercise of their citizenship.
