RAP AND WHITENESS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article is an excerpt adapted from my research under development in the master's degree at the State University of Bahia (UNEB). Here I analyze some letters of rappers with white phenotype in order to evaluate to what extent the subject whiteness has been part of the criticism of them, through their compositions. I notice the perception of these artists about their own racial identity, racial identity on the white group and how they relate or not the phenomenon of Brazilian racism.
