RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE: A DISCUSSION FROM NELSON MANDELA REFERENCE CENTER EXPERIENCE

Abstract
O presente resumo circunscreve o perfil das vítimas de intolerância religiosa que registraram queixas no Centro de Referência de Combate ao Racismo e Intolerância Religiosa Nelson Mandela, assim como os impactos gerados por essa discriminação. O serviço é vinculado a Secretaria de Promoção da Igualdade Racial do estado da Bahia, criado através do Decreto Estadual nº 14.297 de 31 de janeiro de 2013. A partir dos relatórios dos atendimentos feitos pelos setores do referido serviço, apresentaremos o perfil das vítimas e alguns dados oriundos dos impactos da exposição aos processos discriminatórios que foram relatados e suas consequências. O objetivo deste trabalho é demonstrar alguns danos causados pela intolerância religiosa a partir dos relatos dos sujeitos assistidos e possíveis áreas de atuação/intervenção para profissionais de diversas áreas, em torno do processo de melhoria e potencialização das vítimas de intolerância religiosa.
