Abstract
Este artigo trabalha questões referentes às relações raciais e a antropologia cultural (BOAS, 2004; STRAUSS, 1997; MINTZ; PRICE, 2003). Para tanto, discute os conceitos de raça e nacionalidade, tendo entre os objetivos refletir tais noções, seja enquanto construção discursiva e legitimadora de preconceitos, como também a potencialidade transformadora e seu desdobramento em movimentos sociais e literários, tendo como exemplo, a negritude (BERND, 1988; MUNANGA, 1986).
