WHY STUDY BLACK INTELLECTUALS?
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article discusses the need to update the theoretical references diffused in teaching environments through the insertion and diffusion of the works produced by black intellectuals. This change of references identifies in the encouragement of the production of dialogues the realization of cultural diversity and a disalienation of education, which at times, still focused on a Eurocentric model of education, continues to produce the erasing of the identity of many. The recognition of the productions that cultural diversity provides, can bring us closer to a true racial democracy, which we still long for.
