Abstract
This article aims to discuss how the effective implementation process of article 26-A of Federal Law 10.639 / 2003, which changed the guide line sand bases of national education including African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture in school curricula, can contribute for there version of historically constructed social imaginaries about black subjects and their knowledge. And, also, make possible there signification of subjectivities of researchers involved withthe racial theme.
