Abstract

The objective of this essay is to give a special focus on the importance of the comprehension of relationships among races in Brazil for the praxis of the psychology professionals in its several fields of actuation. In order to do that, the author based on the concepts of “traumatic conflictual situation” (Guimarães and Podkameni, 2008) and “perverse braid” (Sampaio, 2009) to work on the psycho and psychosomatic implications of the daily routine of racism exposition, begging for an effective discussion and inclusion in graduation courses, as well as among Brazilian psychologists.
