FOR A SOCIONOMY IN THE 19TH CENTURY: THOUGHT, LIFE AND ACTION OF ANDRÉ REBOUÇAS
Main Article Content
Abstract
The construction of urban space at the end of the Second Kingdom as a place of coexistence was a challenge that was not restricted to its materiality, but included its political, social and economic aspects, provoking intense disputes among the contenders. Therefore, we adopt as axis of analysis of this space-time clipping the experiences of André Rebouças understood as one of the competitors the conformation of this space. Their records present a propositional stance that takes as a starting point the construction of material instruments that enable this place of coexistence. However, we have identified that along these same records there has been a re-signification in the way in which such material instruments should be appropriated and made available. Thus, we propose to analyze the course of these changes of engagement in favor of a wider social engineering.
