Abstract
O livro ora publicado faz parte da “Coleção Capoeira Viva”, que é uma iniciativa da Fundação Gregório de Matos. A meta é o comprometimento e fortalecimento de políticas públicas para com a Capoeira. Nesse pensar a formação e ação do universo dos capoeiristas em diversos territórios e lugares do mundo, tem-se como base a cidade de Salvador para referência de expressão negra nacional e internacional. É preta, Kalunga é resultado da dissertação de mestrado Sou discípulo que aprende, meu mestre me deu lição: tradição entre angoleiros baianos (Anos80-90). A obra está baseada em estudos antropológicos da educação e na força de uma capoeirista mulher que registrou sua vivência na capoeiragem.
