RACIALIZED MASCULINITIES AND THE “INFERNAL EXISTENCES” OF YOUNG BLACK MEN IN THE RECÔNCAVO DA BAHIA

Abstract
This article is the result of my master's dissertation in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (PPGCS-CAPES, 2017-2018), developed with young black men aged 16 to 24, students of the State College annex. Rômulo Galvão, located in the rural area of São Félix (BA). The objective of the research was to understand how to build the male identities and life projects of young black men in that context, using critical anthropology and ethnography as an investigative method. guided by the dialogical relationship and the experience of the subjects.The result of the research points us to the action of racialization acting on the representation of black subjects, making their existences crossed by infernal experiences.
