A STORY TOLD IN A GROUP OF BLACK MEN CONVERSATION IN BRASILIA

Abstract
This paper explains about with the experience of 1 year of execution of the “Roda de conversas de homens negros de Brasília”. This activity is performed biweekly and gathers about 20 black men at each meeting. In these meetings the participants discuss topics that handle various aspects of the social condition of the Black Being in Brazil, as well as other topics of interest to the group. The themes are decided by the group at a previous meeting and further they are discussed at the next meeting. This space allowed more critical views of racism and new ways of seeing the world by these men through the meeting between these pairs and the reflection that the junction between black people causes in the subjectivity of the participants.
