AFFIRMATIVE ACTIONS AT IFNMG - REPORT OF EXPERIENCES
Main Article Content
Abstract
This text addresses excerpts from the path of implementation of affirmative actions at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Northern Minas Gerais - IFNMG, under the perception of black managers of that institution. Therefore, bibliographic material and documents available on the institution's website were analyzed. The journey permeates the implementation of Law 12711 in the selection of students processes, strengthening of the permanence and success policy in the institution, the NEABIs and the complementary procedure for investigating hetero-identification. It has been shown that, in addition to legislation, the struggle for an institution in which there is indeed a behavior and management culture based on anti-racism reveals itself as a perennial action, which demands constant attention and vigilance.
