Abstract

The research analyzes the absence of black women in university teaching.  The theme dialogues studies on racial segregation of female and black bodies absent from academic spaces, whose invisibility transcends socioeconomic issues.  Due to multifaceted markings of race, gender and class, black women undergo the process resulting from the use of networks of indications restricted to the patriarchal and white group.  The bibliographic and descriptive analysis presents the need for public policies aimed at encouraging academic specializations to benefit black and brown people, because a scenario of false inclusions is exposed.  The non-place of black women in intellectual fields calls for a more specific activism of representative movements in the face of bodies stigmatized by multiple forms of oppression.  They symbolize the political priority in the disruption of the dominant group's support network.
