THE PLURALITY OF THE RURAL SPACE OF GUARAPUAVA (PR): THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE BLACK PEOPLE AND THE DAILY LIFE OF THE FAMILIES OF THE MAROON “INVERNADA PAIOL DE TELHA”

Abstract
The Brazilian population is formed by a large ethno-cultural diversity. Ethnic studies are important so that we can know the context of miscegenation of the Brazilian society and completely eliminate any form of prejudice. Guarapuava, as many other municipalities, can be considered a place for plural encounters, it means, many historical trajectories that are in course meet and provide different caracteristics to the society of Guarapuava. The reflections here organized are a result of a research developed with the remaining slaves of, the Maroon Comunity “Invernada Paiol da Telha”, located in the Guarapuava’s rural zone, Paraná state's center-south region. Through field work realized in the Quilombo and interviews made with some quilombolas, there was the oportunity to recognize the reality of people who live in the Quilombo and demystify some pre conceived ideas about the referred theme.
