Abstract
É isso, conseguimos! Aqui está o primeiro número da Revista da ABPN! É com grande alegria e orgulho que chegamos a este momento. Há tempos que a produção de intelectuais negras e negros merecia contar com um espaço como este no Brasil. Demos, então, mais um passo. Nosso profundo desejo agora é garantir a manutenção e o crescimento da conquista. Sabemos que, para isso, tanto ou mais esforço será necessário e vamos em frente. Nossa empreitada intelectual é, portanto e desde o início, política. Eis o que orientou a escolha temática do número inaugural: experiências de mulheres negras na produção do conhecimento. Entendemos que raça e gênero têm servido como eixos de diferenciação negativa, consolidados nas práticas teóricas e cotidianas responsáveis por excluir sistematicamente mulheres negras dos sistemas de pensamento, negando-as como sujeitos de conhecimento científico e dificultando, sobremaneira, seu acesso às posições de poder.
