RACE AND SPIRITUALITY: CLINICAL THINKING IN THE PRACTICES OF SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY

Abstract
The article is situated in the context of the discussions on mental health of the Black population and was written from the experience of the School Psychology Service of a public elementary school in the city of Itaboraí / RJ. The objective of the study is discuss the traumas that religious discrimination produces in school-aged children and their strategies of resistance. The case study methodology was used, where 4 cases are described and interpreted from the theoretical references of Patto (1990), Guzzo (2005) and Hooks (2015).
