INDIGENOUS REEXISTENCE IN THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF PONTA GROSSA: BEYOND ACCESS TO HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract
The objective of this text is to present reexistence’s (Achinte, 2009; Limberti, 2015; Souza Filho Et Al., 2016; Doebber, 2017) testimonials of indigenous students, academics from UEPG, Paraná, which report their strategies to confront prejudice and racism from the non-indigenous society. In the university, the indigenous needs to conquer their space daily. However, even in this hostil scenario, the image of the indigenous academic stands, supported specially by the union of their group.
