BLACK AND DISABLED STUDENTS: NARRATIVES OF THE SOCIAL PRODUCTION OF DOUBLE STIGMA IN THE SCHOOL SPACE

Abstract
This paper is the result of a completed research with the objective of analyzing the production of stigma in black students with disabilities in the school space. The methodological organization is qualitative in nature, conducted through semi-structured interviews with the intention of hearing/listening to the voices of teachers and managers of a municipality in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre/RS. It is concluded, through the analyzed narratives, the evident duplicity of stigmas, in which the subjects focused in the research are enrolled. The discourses explain the negative effects on the self-esteem and learning process of these students, emphasizing the complexity of relationships that are established from these experiences in the school space.
