Abstract
This work involves studies and discussions on Theories and Practices of Teaching and Learning in EPT in spaces of Formal and Non-Formal Education carried out within the scope of the subject Theories and Practices of Teaching and Learning Its objective is to establish reflections on education for work as one of the principles and foundations of life in the Terreiro Pai Xangô das Cachoeiras, located in the Municipality of Barra, Territorio de Identidad Velho Chico, Bahía, and also of the pedagogical work carried out in the school/taller of this religious house from the perspective of technical and professional education. We emphasize that the teaching and learning process takes place in an extracurricular context as the school/study or art school is located within the terreiro territory without any connection with the municipal, state or federal educational systems, which allows us to take advantage of concepts and studies on Formal and Non-Formal Education for the production of this work. We also use a set of regulations and studies that characterize and support the understanding of Traditional Pueblos and Communities and specifically the segment of Pueblos del Terreiro. A bibliographic-documentary investigation was carried out to systematize the history of the terreiros, the religious leaders directly involved. the teaching and learning processes that are carried out in the tall school. Furthermore, finally, we seek to understand and establish the relationship between the educational work carried out in Terreiro with the EPT and No Formal Education spaces.
